There are very few desserts that allow for zero guilt and 100% deliciousness. These baked donuts with a blueberry glaze will bring you lots of careless joy. Have them with your morning coffee and as an afternoon treat; no need to limit yourself with this dessert.

Ingredients
- donuts
1 cup oat flour
3/4 cup sorghum flour
1/4 cup almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp flax meal
1 cup apple sauce
2 dates
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 cup plant based milk
1 tbsp melted coconut oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup blueberries
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp plant based milk
1 tbsp lemon juice
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 F.
- In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients (including flax meal) and set aside.
- Place rest of the ingredients in a blender and blend till dates are completely disintegrated.
- Then, add dry ingredients to the mix and blend on medium until everything is well combined and frothy. Making the batter in a blender is the secret to this recipe.
- Pour or spoon the batter into the donut baking pan and then tap against a flat surface to even it out.
- Bake for about 20 – 25 minutes or till almost double in size and golden brown.
- After removing from the oven, leaving in the pan for a couple of minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack.

- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend till silky smooth.
- Pour the glaze on a plate and dip each donut. Enjoy!
Notes
- The blueberry glaze will turn dark blue and lose some of the shine if not covered. It does not affect the flavor.
